Discovery Center Organization

Discovery Center Organization

My math, science and loose parts centers are combined in my classroom. I call this space the discovery center. With limited space in my in home preschool classroom, I have to get creative with how I store and organize my resources and materials. I was recently asked where I get my resources and furniture for this center, so at the very bottom of this page you will find links to every single thing in this center.

Tinker Tubs! I LOVE these tinker tubs. I purchased them at Michaels while they were on sale for $19.99 each! I used them to store every single resource for my discovery center. I was able to easily create labels for them by finding images of my products on google. Upon assembly, I did choose to leave the handles off of the tubs, this allowed me to place a larger label. This label system is very easy for my students to understand.

My light table and sensory table both came from Wayfair. Click the photos below to be directed to the page links for each product!

Michaels is where I get my rainbow color carts! They have them on sale pretty often and you can sometimes find them for $19.99 around black friday!

  1. Hi! Do you have templates of the labels that you use for these rolling cart organizers? I’d love to print some for the resources that I have. Yours are adorable and fit perfectly with the carts! Thanks. 🙂
